Stroot Wellness Center Bought By JFC

1/7/2013

PEORIA, IL -- Dr. Thomas Stroot, DC, has owned Stroot Wellness Center for 50 years. Now he is embarking on a well-deserved retirement, and has entrusted the care of his patients to Dr. Kyle Johnson, DC, of Johnson Family Chiropractic.

Johnson Family Chiropractic, which is already a thriving practice with many satisfied patients, purchased Stroot Wellness Center on January 1, 2013. Johnson Family Chiropractic is maintaining the same phone number and address that Stroot Wellness Center previously owned: (309) 688-8773 at 3227 N. Prospect Rd., Peoria, IL  61603. Dr. Johnson looks forward to maintaining continuity of patient care, since he provides the same chiropractic techniques and therapies that Dr. Stroot had provided his patients: gentle Activator Methods chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression therapy, ultrasound therapy, electric stimulation therapy, exercise, rehabilitative therapies, nutritional supplements, and more.

Here is the text of a welcoming letter from Dr. Johnson to all of Dr. Stroot's patients:
Dear Patient:

As you are aware, Dr. Thomas Stroot is already enjoying his well-deserved retirement as of the end of December, 2012.  Dr. Stroot spent 50 years serving central Illinois families with excellent chiropractic care, and he has developed deep and lasting relationships among his patients and community.  He will be deeply missed by all of his patients.

You may be wondering what will happen to Dr. Stroot’s chiropractic practice now that he has retired.  After two years of working side-by-side with Dr. Stroot, I agreed to purchase his equipment and chiropractic practice.  Please allow me to introduce myself briefly.

My name is Kyle Johnson, DC.  I am a husband and a father of five girls.  I come from a chiropractic family: my father, my uncle, and my grandfather are all chiropractors who exclusively use the Activator Methods chiropractic technique.  I also specialize in the Activator Methods technique, and I continue to attend annual seminars to refine my technique.

Upon my graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2010, I was extremely blessed to encounter Dr. Stroot.  We have so many things in common: our passion for chiropractic, our use of the Activator Methods chiropractic technique, our use of cold laser and spinal decompression, our love of large families, our enjoyment of fishing, our outlook on life, and more.  Dr. Stroot and I marvel every day at the unique circumstances which brought us together.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to provide continuity of patient care to all of Dr. Stroot’s patients.  My hope is that soon, if I haven’t met you already during my two years in the office, we will meet and begin a new relationship of excellent health care and chiropractic service.

Thank you,

Kyle Johnson, DC
