 Johnson Family Chiroractic wrapped up the first season of softball sponsorship in the Peoria Park District co-ed Tuesday night softball league. The team finished with a winning record!
The team was made up by "free agents", that is, Peoria area residents who wanted to play softball in the Peoria leagues but did not have a contact with any existing teams. This turned out to be a great way to meet new people. Players on the Free Agent team came from Peoria, Dunlap, and Bartonville. And since there was no prior chemistry between the players, it is even more remarkable that the Free Agents turned in a winning season! Good players and good times. Some of our players are shown in the picture above, including two ladies who were among our Walking Wounded, both injured in the leg during the final game of the season. Johnson Family Chiropractic plans to continue sponsoring a team in the Peoria softball leagues, and looks forward to keeping alive the streak of winning softball and pleasant summer evenings.
